Vijayalekshmi and Gopalakrishnan, participated in Nammal Thammil a panel show ‘Sukhaprasavathile chila asukhangal’ on Asianet channel. The discussion was focused on the unnaturally high number of caesarian deliveries conducted at Cherthala Taluk hospital and in general in Kerala. It looks into the social situation that creates a generation of women scared to deliver their babies naturally and a generation of physicians to money and convenience is much above duty and ethics.

We are working on a small kitchen and a new cattle shed. Anu and Gautham took a break from their web designing work and trying to finish a few small structures during June – July. Sivadas (Revathi, Arathi and Akku trio’s father) is there to help us. We will keep you posted through photos during the construction.

A jeep like vehicle

We spend around INR 5,000 a month for our students’ travel. The nine students travel from Sarang hills to the cultural center once in a week for their art classes. We are ready to pay this amount as installments for a vehicle, if there is such a way of financing it. We have Mahindra Bolero in mind, since the road that we are talking about is rough and high-range.
